Christine Beall is an early childhood educator with nearly twenty years of experience teaching and collaborating in the Catholic school system of the Archdiocese of Washington. She has worked with infants, children, and families to embrace a lifelong love of learning, with a special concentration on literacy. She believes in educating the whole child by addressing individual learning styles, utilizing multi-sensory approaches, and encouraging family engagement in education. Christine’s passion is literacy, which she feels is a great equalizer and motivator in today’s ever changing societal climate. In this spirit, she created an online book club for her students and the community during Covid to inspire children’s imaginations and to keep families connected. She also created and coordinates an after-school enrichment program called Adventures in Readingwhich allows young children to explore the world of literature through read alouds, dramatic interpretations, art, cooking, and STEM activities.Christine received her B.A. in English from the College of the Holy Cross and did graduate work in early education at Hood College in Maryland. Prior to pursuing her love of teaching, she worked as the Director of Human Resources for Employee Health Programs in Bethesda, MD. Christine is an eternal optimist, which explains her unwavering support for the sports teams of Cleveland.
